Servicing and Repairs
I offer a wide range of services for all types of bicycles from Road, Mountain, Sportive, Cyclo Cross, Triathlon, BMX and Children’s. Services range from a basic check over to a full strip down and rebuild. I can do any service. I also offer a range of individual jobs including hydraulic brakes servicing, tubeless tyre conversion, fork servicing and puncture repairs, amongst others.
All service prices listed below are for work carried out in my workshop. Depending on location, number of bicycles to be serviced and whether collection and delivery is required, there may be additional charges for mobile work.
I specialise in Custom wheel building and have a separate section for Wheel Building. If you don’t see a service that suits you listed then please contact me.
Basic Service
The basic service is aimed at bikes with cable brakes and gears. I will adjust the Gears and brakes. The chain will be cleaned and lubricated. The wheels trued and hubs adjusted as necessary. From £36.00
Full Service
The full service is aimed at bikes with cable brakes and gears. I will clean and lubricate the chain, cassette, front and rear derailleurs. I will check the rear dropout and make sure its in track. I will strip and regrease the hubs if they are cup and cone with ball bearings, if they are cartridge bearings I will inspect them for play. I will check the bottom bracket and head set and adjust as necessary. Any suspension parts or pivots are not included in this service. From £85.00
Full Strip down & Rebuild
The full strip down and rebuild. I will remove all the parts from the frame. The frame will be cleaned and polished, all the parts will be degreased and lubricated. The wheels will have the bearings replaced replace if they are cup and cone ball bearings if its a cartridge type this will be inspected and the wheels will be trued. If the bottom bracket has loose bearings these will be replaced; if it’s a cartridge type this will be inspected. If the headset has loose bearings these will be replaced; if it’s a cartridge type this will be inspected. The bicycle will be reassembled with new brake and gear cables (additional cost).
For road bikes handlebar tape will be extra as this is a personal choice.
For mountain bikes suspension components, suspension pivots and hydraulic brakes are not included in the service but can be done as additional services.

Gear service
I will degrease the cassette and chain and then re lubricated, The jockey wheels will be cleaned and re-lubricated, and new gear cables will be fitted. I will then check the rest of the bike over to make sure its safe. From £50.00
New Bike from a box
I will assembly the new bike supplied in a box so that it is ready to ride and conforms to BS EN 14764/65/66. From £45.00
